T. W. HOWIS (he/him) is an Australian writer living in Wadawurrung country. He enjoys conducting interviews with artists, writers, and creatives and makes regular contributions to Aurealis Magazine, Jimmy Hornet and more. He loves watching British crime shows, reading fantasy books, and making marmalade. He is involved with several writing projects including a comic book.

When did you start writing?
When I was 11 years old. I was the school newsletter editor, and my first article was on the front page.

Which 3 genres interest you the most?
Fantasy, procedural, and horror. 

Who are your three favourite authors?
Alan Dean Foster, Hergé, and Ian Rankin.

Three books you could never part with?
 Spellsinger – Alan Dean Foster,  Inkheart – Cornelia Funke, and The Carpet People – Terry Pratchett.

What is your favourite author experience?
Meeting Alan Dean Foster and hanging out with him over two weeks. Last year Alan very kindly let me interview him for Aurealis Magazine #184 and #185.
